March 15th - Insanity: Day 1 Fit Test

***IMPORTANT NOTE: I AM POSTING THIS AFTER I FINISHED MY DAY 5: GET A PAIR OF CROSS TRAINING SHOES. THESE SHOES ARE FOR LATERAL MOVEMENT.  I WAS USING RUNNING SHOES AND HAD HORRIBLE PAIN ON THE OUTSIDE PART OF MY SHOE SINCE THEY LACK SUPPORT***

So day 1 is the Fitness Test to see how well you stack up.  Well, I was beat, spent, exhausted halfway through the 8 exercises that Shaun T (trainer) makes you go through.  They are:

| Switch Kicks | Power Jacks | Power Knees | Power Jumps | Globe Jumps | Suicide Jumps | Push-Up Jacks | Low Plank Oblique |

Yeah I know, they look easy, but when you're out of shape with mid section weight and a back surgery almost a year ago they are tougher than you think.  My legs were killing me by the time I got to the globe jumps.  The suicide jumps were out of the question because I felt discomfort in my lower back and the push up jacks....well they're push ups and everyone hates push ups.  I dont have my numbers but when I get home I'll post my results.  Hope that by the next fit test that I will beat my own numbers.

Bottom line, I did it and I completed what I could....and I sweat like a pig!
